Learning English Is Fun!

"Let's play!" the teacher said.  The room was filled with yell and happy faces.  After the signal everyone became quiet again to listen to the instructions of the game.  Faces of confused students were seen on the first attempt to explain the instructions.  The teacher noticed immediately that there is no reaction to each instructions being given so she diverted to an instruction with body movements.  "Yes! Yes! Yes!", the teacher happily yells.  Finally they understood each other.

Learning English as a second language is difficult, challenging but fun!  Children starting to study English for second language speakers at an early age get a better advantage of adapting and learning the whole concept of the language.  The development of the brain and training that a child receives at an early age creates a great impact to it until it grows older.  The mark of training and discipline of practice have already been engraved in their brain.

Learning another language is very beneficial.  The best is learning the English language.  It is fun!

"Practice Makes Perfect"

"Practice Makes Perfect" is such a beautiful motto to attain perfection in whatever we are doing.  To attain perfection or near perfection involves a lot of effort and hard work.  Great determination, discipline and a positive attitude are the keys to attain perfection.

"Practice" is a noun that means the actual application or use of an idea, belief or method as opposed to theories about such application or use.  A constant repetition or frequent use of  certain things is a practice to attain desired goal of mastering its usage or meaning.  Anything can be learned.  Talents are great but if trained with more practice it can be enhanced and reach 'par excellence'.

A constant practice engraves a detailed skill in our brain.
This makes sure that what a student or a person is learning will not just be anyhow gone sometime.  There is an assurance that it will be remembered and useful for a longer period of time.

As a teacher one of my goals in every lessons I do is that at least several words would remain in their memory when they go home.  For students who are learning "English as a Second Language", it is difficult to remember and understand these foreign words.  The language looks very difficult and boring.  For older students who already knew and can already communicate knew the meaning of the lessons being discussed and can interact properly, but for young students it is really difficult to learn.

Children are very patient and fun people.
Practicing through choral or individual repetition is not as boring as teaching adults.  Practicing with body movements and music is the best for them.  This fun way of practice is effective to avoid boredom and misunderstanding.

Even though in this world, nobody is perfect ... there is near perfection.  The more a person practices, the more it retains in their memory.

"Practice Makes perfect and Perfect Makes Permanent".  What do you say?

The Classroom

This place has four corners filled with colorful papers from side to side. Each paper is designed for students to learn something. A small square world with lots of things to explore.

For the youngest generation this is a very big place with lots of happy things to expect. They meet their classmates and start playing. When the teacher arrives their minds will be feed and also their souls.  They go home with a happy heart and a healthy mind.

Can you imagine that? An innocent student just wonders around the four cornered small room and began to explore and learn. A classroom is a very important place for a student's learning. Feeding the student's eyes itself with the words written or printed in colorful paper is a big leap into learning.  making things inside the room attractive is a hard work for a teacher but a fun way of learning to a young mind.

Twinkling eyes, a sweet smile and interesting questions about what a student sees inside the classroom can relieve the burden of a tired teacher.  This is a sign that there is a curious mind that is being feed by the great decorations around the classroom.

The classroom is also considered a second home where students meet their second parent, their other brothers or sisters and most of all their beloved friends.  These people also help mold the students' character to be who they will become in the future.

Thank you to all hard working teachers who has beautiful and fun classroom.
